Brochure/Animated Brochure
A few weeks, my class and I did a project for our Web Design class. It was to create a brochure, and provide information on some the events in today's society. Some of those events were animal cruelty, women's rights, and nature/pollution. My brochure was on the topic, Religion, and about the problems that each religion have been facing from people. Also about the recent news about the Trump ban on Muslims, and immigration about Hispanics. The first step of the project was to use Indesign, and and create 1 page(facing pages) and create a portrait orientation, and with 3 columns to make it look like a brochure. Then I started to put information and photos on the brochure. the first one was the cover page, which was the 1st side of the page, in the left side column. It said "Religion around the World, and underneath it, it had a photo of a wheel, and all the religion symbols around it. The 2nd column was the 2nd page, left column which I talked about the Trump ban, and how Muslims were treated when people heard about that. The 3rd column had events that occurred in America where people were treated unfairly and disrespected based on their religion, from famous people. The 4th column contained pie charts about the world's religion percentage, and a bar graph of people' religion. The 5th column had questions and answers about what is religion, and what makes one religion different from another. The 6th and last column had famous quotes about religion. The objective of this project was to learn how to make brochures, and to inform people about the world's currents events and the problem it's causing.
A few days after we did the brochure project, my class and I did a little lab based on the brochures we created. We did this lab by animating how the images on the brochure would come in, when someone looks at it online. To do this, you had to go on view. arrangements, animations, and then a few animations for the photos come up. Such as faded in or out, zoom in or out, and rotate. Then we selected a photo, and picked an animation. We did this individually for each image on the brochure.
