Project 2: Collage, Silhouette, and Lettering

A few weeks ago, I did a project on an application called "CS6 Photoshop". The first step of this project was to select a famous person, could be an athlete, musician, actor, etc. We had to select a photo of that person, that included their face. Then we had to select 10 different pictures that represent that person. In this case, I did the singer, Michael Jackson. Then we had to open photoshop, create a new file, and place the image of the person you're doing the project on, with their face. Then we had to select the magic wand tool, and cut out their face from the background, create a new layer via copy, and once you've done that, make sure the new layer is an outline of the person's face with nothing inside. Then you select those 10 different photos, and place them next to each other, within the outline of the face. Finally you, go back to the first outline cutout of the picture, and select the type tool. Once you've done that, you have to type something around the outline, like a quote(like 4-8 words). So once to have typed your quote, you copy and paste it more times, so it surrounds the whole outline of the picture, and you change the background color to whatever you want, but make sure you're able to see the quote you typed. The objective of this lab was to learn how to collage images together, to create something, and to learn how to silhouette and lettering.
