Lab 2: Image Adjustments
During this week in class on Thursday and Friday, I did a lab. It was basically about photoshopping a dog, into miniature versions of that dog. This lab was done on an application called "CS6 photoshop". The first step of the lab, was to photoshop and cut out the background of the image, so when the photo is cut out, it would just be the dog, and nothing else in the background. I have to say, throughout the whole lab, that part was the most difficult part of the lab. The next step was, to make up 8-11, layers of the cut-out dog. And after that, we had to transform the layers we just mad to a smaller size, so it could fit all in one page. The next step was to select each layer one by one, and make the dog look different and unique. What I mean by that is, we had to first select a certain layer, and after that we had to pick one image adjustment, and apply it to the dog, we had to do a different image adjustment, for each different layer we had. The final step was simple. It was to put our name, date, and name of the lab. And then we had to print it, and make sure it fit to a piece of copy paper. The point of this lab was to help you know all the image adjustments you can do, and what each of them do. It can help you change a picture to a certain color or tone to make it look different from the other picture. I can myself using the skills I learned in this lab when I need to change the color/background of an image of something, to make it look different than the other images.
